The price is great, but for shipping, which is pricey. Would be a good thing to throw in with other items, to spread the shipping cost out.

While your on the subject of personal gear.I would like for you to also mention the elephant in the room.....meaning of course this, none of us wants to think about taking a hit. But its going to happen. When TSHTF many are going to be killed, many more are going to be maimed.Every group MUST!have people with at least a basic idea how to treat .1 Gunshot 2 Laceration 3 Burns 4 prevention of shock...These are a small mobile units main field aid concerns. There are a number of individual first aid kits readily available .The best is the new issue one and they are not that expensive. If you have people with EMT training ,great. If not there are surplus manuals out there,GET THEM!and study them. War,is a cruel horrible business ,you know that certainly. None of us live in the world of Rambo,s bottomless magazine. Prepare! K.I.S.S.!.

Aren't these the "universal" type that hold M14 (aka M1A) mags as well?

DD: No, these are for M16 only, pretty much.

If you pull out the deviders, they will hold two M14 mags nicely. Also pretty handy for bandos of M2 ball for the M1 operator. I cut the side pockets off, for they serve no purpose for me.

Remove the dividers and I can put 7 8 round enblock clips in easily. 56 rounds with a little more punch than the 223 LOL

Thanks to the others who chimed in - I THOUGHT I recalled using them for other things...

They're actually not TOO terrible for shotgun shells either...
